This Navratri, as we worship the divine power of Mata in all her forms, let us remember the greatest truth—there is no one like a mother. She feeds, protects, and loves us unconditionally throughout our lives. But it is heartbreaking to see that many of these Matajis are abandoned and left alone when they grow old, become ill, or are seen as a burden by their own families. These women, who once gave everything, are now left to suffer in isolation.

DAVO has rescued many such Matajis, giving them shelter and care, but they still need our support. On this auspicious occasion of Navratri, we invite you to honor them through Annadan Sewa—feeding these abandoned souls who have nowhere else to turn.
